Our Christmas...

First I need to post pictures for the past 3 Christmas'...for comparison purposes...

Christmas Eve 2005...

Christmas Eve 2006...

Christmas Eve 2007...

It all goes by way too quickly!

We had a pretty enjoyable Christmas day. I ended up taking a ton more pictures than I have in the past because this year we didn't have a video camera going the entire time. We actually didn't have one going at all this year, but that's ok. We don't seem to watch our home videos very often. We need to get a more up-to-date digital camcorder. Maybe next Christmas...

Josiah and I didn't get to bed til close to 2am. The kids were in the living room around 2:45. I think Camden was the only one that tried to get us to get up. The girls know better by now. They eventually all fell back to sleep and didn't wake up again til just after 6. I'll post pictures to tell most of the stories...

The Christmas Eve Scene....

After the kids were in bed...

The desk all the way to the right in this pic is what Santa left for Josiah and I. It matches our tv stand and bookshelves and once the tree is down, will fit perfectly in it's spot!

This is actually fairly typical of Josiah as far as once all the presents are open. He falls asleep in the middle of all the aftermath ...

This pic was from 3 years ago...I think the others years I haven't captured the moment...

At my parents house for our gift exchange...

Josiah sulking after not winning...

Alyssa chillin'

Me attempting Guitar Hero...I was having too much fun to be concerned whether or not I had double chin/neck goin' on...
...I was having too much fun to be concerned whether or not I had double chin/neck goin' on so just ignore that...

Anyway, that was basically it. I'm very happy that it is out of the way. Now I can focus on being better prepared all around, for next year. I'll save up better over the year, start my cards in July, plan any holiday crafts in October and actually made before Thanksgiving, have everything (giftwise) purchased a couple weeks in advance, everything wrapped 1 week in advance, so that I can actually feel stree free and enjoy the holiday season! Will that all happen? Probably not, but it's definitely something worth giving a shot at.

Now I get to figure out what we're going to do about Camden's birthday that is way too quickly approaching. Fortunately we already took care of buying his gifts. Or atleast the most expensive one. I bought him a Nintendo DS Lite way back in like October? When they first came out with the red bundle w/the Brain Age game. I'm pretty happy with myself that I got it taken care of so early on.

I think that's enough from me for a day...I think I'll hit some after Christmas sales!! Yippee!!

Looks like you guys had a fantastic day! I love seeing Josiah on Christmas morning..it still reminds me of when we were kids. I like that. Also..let Rylie know that as soon as her back is turned, I'm taking her coat but that I probably won't get very far because I'll have stumbled into the living room and see that you guys now have Annie. So..I'll be on the couch in her coat singing my heart out. :)
