Contrary to popular belief....

...I am still here!!

I have just been suuuuper busy lately and every time I've sat down thinking maybe I'd go ahead and blog about what we've been doing, I get overwhelmed with it because pictures will be involved and it's alot of time to commit when I don't know that I'm ready to take that time. Sooo...that being said, I think I'll take a couple days/posts to blog about my last couple of weeks.

The 29th of December was a busy day. Besides it being Camden's 5th birthday, it was also my parents 36th anniversary, along with a Smith Family Reunion that had been planned for that day. I think it was basically put together to remember my grandfather who passed away on the 27th of December, I believe 3 years ago. There was first a tour at the Mesa Cemetary of the graves of all my ancestors who are buried there. My uncle has some books and interesting info on alot of them. We unfortunately were too late to make it to that part of it, but we met up with everyone at the park for a potluck. I wish I'd gotten some pictures of each of the individual families, but alas, there's always next time. Here are a few that I did manage to get...

My dad Roger and grandmother Verda...

My dad's brother Monte...

My cousin Jennie with my brother Jeremy...

My sister-in-law Leslie with her super cute baby, Luke...

My kids and my brother's kids...

from left to right=Landon holding Luke, Nathan, Alyssa, Layna, Rylie, Camden, Trenton, Jacob...who didn't really want to be in the picture.

Camden helping one of my cousins little boy around the park...

Camden seems to love babies and small toddlers.

Rylie pushing Josiah on the swing...

Trenton tried to push Josiah on the swing...

...he didn't know to get out of the way.

Rylie...

Alyssa...

Here are a couple pics I stole off my brother & SIL's website...

My mom, Robie, talking to uncle Monte...

I thought this was a funny picture of my sister...w/my cousin Jennie...

Since it was Camden's birthday and we were already going to be at the park, we decided to have his party there as well...

Ok, I'll fill you all in on some more fun later...

My first thought was "where's the snow?" Looks like a fun time. Tell your mom I said Hi. She looks so modern and cool! Tell her that OK :-) We are freezing our tails off up here. I keep imagining the slushy mushy snow is sand on a beach....it helps a little.
