Busy Week...

I think all in all, our week of Spring Break was not bad. We made it to the little neighborhood park twice. I forgot my camera the first day, but remembered the 2nd...

Rylie Roo...
Camden...
Alyssa...the monkey!...
Trenton is on the left...climbing up some weird spiral thing that I've never understood the point of...
Camden wanted me to take this picture of him jumping off the rock...

Leslie & I got together to work on our "SPRING" crafts. She finished hers but I'm still mid project. I had to cut it short to pick up the husband from work and haven't gotten around to it again...here's where it stands as of now...I haven't yet pasted the paper to the letters which explains why they are laying down.

My sweet husband surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers yesterday...

This morning we took all the grandkids, on my families side, and got some pictures. Something that hasn't been done in about 3 years...
Rylie & Alyssa...

Layna, (Leslie's daughter) Alyssa, Rylie...I was just taking in-between shots & fun shots with my dinky little camera. So clearly these are not the final product...Leslie was taking them with a much better camera and I'm sure what she captured was a million times better! I will post those later, once I've recieved my copy.

After the pictures, we all went home to change clothes, then we headed to the zoo...

Camden, Landon, (Leslie's oldest son) Trenton...
Jacob (Leslie's 2nd youngest) & Trenton...
Rylie holding Leslie's baby, Luke. I loved that they had the same expression...Of course the batteries in my camera died before I got very many pics there...I'll have to wait til Leslie posts or shares with me what she got on her camera.

Tomorrow will be busy also. We have a ward Easter egg hunt at the neighborhood park at 8:30 in the morning.

I'm going to pay my kids to clean the house. It's an easy way to get it done when I'm just simply not in the mood. It's not my mess anyway and I don't assign them weekly chores or pay them an allowance, so I don't feel too bad about paying them to clean up their own messes.

I need to shop for Easter dinner. We're going to have my family over Sunday evening. Josiah wants ham so that's what we're going to have. My mom is going to fix scalloped potatoes and I'll fix some deviled eggs. YUM! And probably corn. My little family doesn't recognize a meal if it doesn't include corn! (Leslie teases me about this!)

And of course, who can forget about dying Easter eggs!? (I think we actually did forget a few years back, but it was when the girls were smallish and didn't have a clue!)

OH! Also, I need to remind my kids that Easter isn't like Christmas where you wake up at 4:30 in the morning...to go through your Easter basket! You may laugh....but they did this either last year or the year before...

I think that about wraps it up....Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend!

OH AND....
I found this on CrazyMama's Blog and wanted to take the quiz myself...
What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The West

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.

The Midland

Boston

North Central

The South

The Northeast

Philadelphia

The Inland North
