Easter Weekend...

Saturday morning we finally made it to the ward Easter
egg hunt...
We ate muffins and donuts for breakfast there.

Saturday evening we dyed Easter eggs...I prepped the cups w/vinegar & water... Josiah put the dye tablets in...

Each of the kids had 6 eggs to color...
Alyssa used the crayon to make a cool design...
Rylie wrote her name...
There were 3 different greens and Trenton chose all 3 to dye his first 3 eggs in. Can anyone guess what his favorite color is? What a funny little guy...

The Easter bunny came during the night this year and hid the kids' Easter baskets. I think they were happy that he didn't wait til we were at church...They had a little bit of time to go through and check out their loot before they had to get ready for church.

Here they are dressed in their Easter attire...I love these comparison pictures...

Easter 2006...

Sunday evening I had my family over for dinner. We had ham, scalloped potatoes, deviled eggs, corn, & olives. I only got a picture of the deviled eggs though...

My brother Christopher & his wife Jill, brought a game called Quelf that was played after dinner. All I've got to say is it's a very loud & different sort of game. But there was a ton of laughing going around! Here are a few pics that I caught...I'm not sure what my dad is doing with his hands to his head in this picture....but it was what his card told him to do, I'm sure! Left to right facing the camera...My dad, my mom, my brother Christopher, his oldest daughter Katie.

L to R...Leslie holding Luke in the back, my little brother Michael, my oldest brother Jeremy, & my sister Tanya.

This was one of the funniest events in the game...Tanya & Jill had to play leap frog a certain # of times, to avoid a penalty and having to go back a space. It was pants-wetting hilarious!

Here I am wearing my "bullseye" that if anyone was caught looking at, they'd get a penalty and have to go back a space.

My sil Jill sitting at the opposite end of the table.

So I think we all had a good time. We won't mention the couple of occurances during the game where myself and my 4 other siblings decided we must have been adopted...
I do recommend the game to anyone who enjoys playing games in big groups. I think my brother said they bought it at Game Daze? I think that is the name of it.

Anyway, here are a couple of the pictures that my sil Leslie took on Friday, when we got all the cousins together...

She did an awesome job photoshopping this one so that everyone looked.....better...

And lastly, a SUPER cute one she got of Layna, Alyssa, & Rylie...

Two hours later....I think I will end it here! Hope everyone has a great week!

Takes a long time to upload all those pics and get the captions right, doesn't it?

Wonderful post, thanks for sharing the fun! I love it that the boys are in white shirts and bare feet in their individual portraits.
