DONE!

I think I've set a personal record. I finished reading Twilight today. The record being...I don't think I've ever read a book that length before...in that short amount of time. Fortunately I picked up the 2nd book last night while I was at my parents' house. I have a goal to finish them all by the end of September. That way, I get it out of the way rather than drawing it out for forever. Plus I figure that way, it will all be fresh in my head. And I'm already looking forward to the movie. I don't know if I'll drag my husband to see it with me though.

Speaking of movies...we went out last night. We had planned to see Mamma Mia!, but our waiter at Streets of New York was soooo slooooow! So we ended up missing the showing we'd wanted to see, and didn't think we'd make it in time for the next showing at a different theater, so instead we saw The House Bunny! We laughed. We thought it was funny!

The other day I watched Dan in Real Life for the first time. I really liked it. I sobbed my way through it. I put off watching it for a while because I thought I had heard someone say that it wasn't any good. (probably Josiah) It's fairly chick flicky, but I recommend it.

I was successful this week, in getting all the dollhouse stuff listed. I'm very glad about that. I also realized how nice/easy it is having just one child at home again. And the fact that he's 4 compared to the last time I had just one child at home...Rylie when she was 2, before Alyssa was born of course. It's just nice to be able to do something without being distracted every 2 minutes to get a cup of milk or something to eat or watch, etc. Trenton keeps himself fairly occupied with games on the computer. I sat and read for several hours yesterday, uninterrupted. I could have gone to the store and he would never have noticed. Of course I'd never do that, I'm just saying.

This morning we took the kids to a Primary activity. They got WET which ='s FUN! Of course they still wanted to go swimming when we got home. Crazy kids!

Right now I have my brother's 5 kids over while he and his wife are out to dinner. They + my 4 kids = NOISY! As long as they're having fun, right?! Mostly as long as nothing's getting broken...including but not limited to, bones!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Congratulations on finishing the book! Now, you need to get it back here so I can read it. One of these days when you don't have anything to do and you have the car, you should take Trenton and go visit Grandpa. He would really enjoy that! Your kids don't really know their great-grandparents and now that Grandma is gone...

I have thought about reading it with all the hype, but we will see if I do.

Congrats! Don't you just love it when a book is so good it can get a person reading again? Yay! Keep on going! The 4th one is so good so far!

I liked Dan in Real Life too. Much better than I anticipated.
