Tis The Season...

...To be busy! Blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah!

It's already the 6th! I just know the month is going to be gone and all the things I really want to do will not have gotten done.

Here's my list...

1. Bake some homemade cinnamon rolls.

2. Finish making my Christmas cards.

3. Make some chocolate covered pretzels.

4. Make my cutesie little Christmasy craft thingymajigga.

5. Ward Christmas party. (tomorrow night)

6. My families annual gingerbread house making party. (the 16th)

7. Other holiday baking...making up cookie dough to freeze for later

8. Watch every Christmas movie that we own. (my problem with this one is I'm always so tired when we sit down to watch them and because I'm sitting doing nothing, I tend to fall asleep.)

9. Drive around to look at Christmas lights on houses.

10. Go see the lights at the Temple.

11. Go Christmas caroling. <---this doesn't usually happen, but it's something that I always loved doing as a kid and keep the hope that someday it will be done again.

12. Get all the presents wrapped before Christmas Eve <---shouldn't be too difficult since there won't be nearly as many this year.

13. Go to IHOP for breakfast on Christmas Eve and then to see a movie. <---a tradition we started a few years ago and the kids look forward to.

14. Go get some GOOD Hot Chocolate. <---Another tradition the kids look forward to

15. The girl's piano recital. (Next Thursday)

16. All the other stuff that will pop up in my head that I want to do before Christmas...

Anyway, this doesn't even include all the stuff that I have to do such as being a den leader (committee mtg Sunday, Pack activity next Tuesday, den meetings, plus we're taking the bears on a little field trip this Saturday to the Mesa Historical Museum.) I also am still working on getting toys ready to list on ebay. I'm totally procrastinating on that one. Which reminds me, I still need to ship 2 things that I've sold. Atleast they are ready to go and usually I can just take them down to the PO and drop them in the box since they are prepaid, but one is too big to fit so I gotta get down there while they're open and hand it to an actual person.

Alrighty, I feel better now that I've gotten a post in this week. Gonna go watch some tivo'd shows or a Christmas movie with Josiah....hopefully I'll last through them...

Until next time...

i feel ya! i have decided i need to maybe let some of my things go. the stress isn't worth the supposed memories, and it is so easy to over plan and make it harder on ourselves.
the the stress funk is going around , seems like everyone it flipping about about what we ahve to do and want to do and then life on top of it. hope you get all you want done. sounds super fun!
