Luck O' the Irish!

Today, my sil, Leslie and I had some fun putting these together...
I always enjoy spending time making crafts with Leslie. Besides being interupted by the kids (mostly mine) whining about wanting to play the Wii...we usually have fairly good conversations.

Leslie had started her set the other day but had to put it on hold because she needed to borrow my corner rounder. She was nice enough to hold off even longer, so that we could finish them together. Leslie took me to Scrapbooks etc this morning so I could pick up the supplies I needed for my blocks. Her sweet husband, aka my brother, cut the blocks for me and even sanded them so they would have nice rounded edges. How nice is that?!

Thank you, Jeremy & Leslie, for all you do for me, and mostly for putting up with me and my kids while we craft at your house!!

So cute! I was just complaining to someone that with Easter so close to St. Patty's this year - it's either decorate for one or the other. Now I'm wishing I had pulled out my St. Pat's box.

Did you decoupage them?

I like these better than the regular "love" or "home"... although I like those too - there is something FUN about the word lucky - it makes me smile. Plus I love green! I may make these for next year. I've done squat for spring time decor this year. Thanks for the live chat today. There is nothing better than having a friend on the phone!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the comments. Your kids are adorable too! I was interested in what you wrote too. I have to say I can easily get addicted to a lot of things (ebay, scrapbooking, blogging, shopping). All things in moderation huh? I really am always trying to evaluate and set limits. Not always easy!
