My 100th Post!! Q&A

Thanks again to everyone who helped with this. Hope you aren't bored to tears too quickly...

1. Scrappie Mom said...
What is your favorite color? I tend to wear brown the most but I’m drawn to blues…

2. Scrappie Mom said...
What kind of car do you DREAM of having? One that is paid in full and gas is not required? I’d like a Toyota Tundra. One with all the good specs. Probably in a dark blue.

3. Scrappie Mom said...
Are you looking forward to school starting? Yes because the girls (Rylie specifically) are bored out of their brains and I can’t seem to do enough to keep them busy, and No because I’ll have a kindergartner this year. It’s always hard to adjust to that. I think mostly because I’m not sure how he’ll do although I think it will be easier than it was with Alyssa…

4. Scrappie Mom said...
What is your favorite vacation memory? Hmm….I have sooo many of those! But if I have to pick one, I think I’d say it was the one where we took that, 2 week road trip and traveled to/through 5 different states. I think my favorite stop though was Oregon. I will always remember how beautiful it was there and the visit to the ocean! The salty smell of the sea! And dad with all those slugs! I would love to go back there.

5. Jenna Consolo said...
Who was your favorite elementary school teacher and why? All through elementary I had female teachers until I got into 5th grade. That year I had Mr. Cowan and I pretty much was in love with him. Therefore, he was my favorite school teacher…and now you know why!

6. Jenna Consolo said...
When you were a kid, did you ever lie to your parents? I’m sure I was not always 100% honest with them, but I don’t remember ever telling any bold faced lies to my parents. I was a pretty good kid….I think.

7. Jenna Consolo said...
Which actress would you want to play you in a movie? Reese Witherspoon and no runners up.

8. Jenna Consolo said...
What's your most embarrassing moment? I know I’ve suffered many “red-faced” moments, but nothing super humiliating sticks out in my head, but this was pretty embarrassing…When I was in college (for the semester that I went…) I got asked out on a date by this guy that I sorta liked, only to find out that he had asked the wrong girl…He had called me on the phone to ask me out, and then he needed to call me back again for some reason and it was during the second phone call that he asked me if I had been able to do something that I needed to do earlier that day and I had no clue what he was talking about. It was then that he realized he had called and asked out the wrong “Sarah”….I don’t remember exactly what he said, if it was, “Oh, I thought I was calling Sarah So-and-so” or if he just said “Oh, I called the wrong Sarah” or what, but whatever it was, made it very obvious that I was NOT the girl he thought he was asking out! We did still go out. At least he was nice enough to not just call the date off. The date did end up being kinda awkward though. And I didn’t really know any of the other people there and being as shy as I was, didn’t say more than maybe “hello” when we walked in. It all would have been less lame though, if he had just kept it to himself that he asked out the wrong girl, rather than blurting it into the phone!

9. Jenna Consolo said...
What's the weirdest food you loved as a kid?...Hmmm, weird? I don’t remember loving anything particularly “weird”, but I remember I did like shrimp, which for my family, was probably considered “weird.”

10. Jenna Consolo said...
Who was your first best friend? HollyAnn Crespin. (although I couldn’t tell you today if that was the correct spelling of her name.) We met the first day of Kindergarten at the bus stop. She lived right around the block from me and so we got to hang out often at each other’s house. She moved away though, I think in 1st grade. I was pretty upset about it. Funny though, I can still picture her and her mom and brother plain as day.

11. Jenna Consolo said...
Have you ever dyed your hair a different color? Nope. There have been a couple times that I’ve attempted to lighten it a little, because it seemed a little dull. But never so much that my roots grew in a completely different color.

12. Jenna Consolo said...
Have you ever had any surgeries or major medical problems? Nope (knock on wood)

13. Jenna Consolo said...
If you could change your first name, what would you change it to? I don’t know for sure what I would change it to although I remember as a kid, I hated my name. Even now I sometimes hate having to say it. Something about the 2nd syllable “rah” “ruh”, I don’t like the way the “r” sounds in the middle of my name. Although I always liked the name “Brooke” or “Gabriella”…I don’t think I look like either of those though….I guess I’ll have to keep my name.

14. Jenna Consolo said...
If you had another girl baby, or another boy baby, what names would you choose? Hmmm….since we’ve decided for sure that we are done, these are purely hypothetical…I think I would try to use the name Brooke Lynn for a girl and for a boy? I always wanted to name one of my boys Joshua….but Josiah wouldn’t have it because that is what his name was always butchered into while growing up (and still today we get calls for “Joshua”) so I would have to go with something else. I’m not sure what though, so I guess it’s a good thing we’re done!

15. Leslie said...
What do you think is your best physical feature? My skin. Does that count? If not, then I would say my eyes, minus the bags that sit below them.

16. Leslie said...
What do you think is your worst physical feature? Everything else…If I have to be specific though, then I would say my hands. They’re too big. I would like to have more feminine looking hands….not man hands!

17. Leslie said...
Is there any memory that you have of you and Jeremy that really sticks out in your mind that has left a good impression with you? Before Jeremy left on his mission, we were pretty close to being worst enemies. But something changed after he left. I actually cried myself to sleep the night he left. We ended up writing back and forth his entire mission and became very close friends. I remember sending him uplifting LDS quotes & poems and funny “Deep Thoughts” from SNL. He was pretty much my best friend by the time he came home from his mission.

18. Leslie said...
What is your favorite care bear now? and when you were a kid? I remember watching the Care Bear movies that we had on tape (pirated of course…) and reading the books, but I don’t remember having one favorite. If I had to guess though, I’d say it was probably Funshine Bear. Now? I don’t think I have a preference now either. Although when they first came back out and we were big into ebay? I really liked coming across the Grumpy Bears. We made a good $30-$40 a piece on those ones.

19. Saint Holiday said...
When may I come to swim? Anytime! Our pool is always open!

20. Saint Holiday said...
Will you give me some lessons? If I can figure out how to teach my own kids to swim, then yes, I will certainly give you some too!

21. Rylie Roo said...
Do I count? Yes. (That one was easy!)

22. Rylie Roo said...
What computer game do you like? (leave it to my own daughter to rat me out!) I enjoy spending time with Josiah, playing a game called City of Heroes. But for the most part, I only play it while he’s home and playing, but not always while he is playing am I playing too…if that makes sense.

23. Scrappie Mom said...
What is your least favorite vacation memory? Least favorite? That’s more difficult to come up with than my most favorite. Does that mean I don’t have any “least” favorites? I’m sure while we were living them I probably dreaded any time that we had to deal with “fergies gas!”….actually I was going to say any of the times that we had to pull over on the side of the road to fix something that had gone wrong. But now, they are memories that made those vacations so real! And fun memories, not that they were good times, but if everything went perfect, then there wouldn’t be anything to look back on, right?

24. Scrappie Mom said...
What is your best Christmas memory? When it used to seem cold at Christmas! I think I just love ALL of my Christmas memories! Everything that has to do with Christmas makes me happy! I get teary eyed every Christmas season for so many *little* reasons. The “hustle and bustle”, hearing certain songs for the first time each season. Driving around to look at Christmas lights. Caroling, hay rides with the ward, Brother what’s his name coming to our house every year dressed up like Santa. Grandma (Spivey at the time) coming to our house early in the morning while it was still dark out even because we got up so early to open presents! Going to Grandpa Smith’s on Christmas Eve. Grandma & Grandpa Jarman coming over on Christmas day. I will always remember though the one Christmas that we secretly put presents and a basket of Oranges at the Luth’s front door because (darn it why can’t I remember any of these people’s names?!) oh, Richard had lost his job and they weren’t going to have much of a Christmas.

25. Scrappie Mom said...
Your least? Is it possible to have a “least” favorite Christmas memory. I really can’t think of any.

26. Scrappie Mom said...
Which teacher did you have a "crush" on? Mr. Cowan, it’s no secret! My mom still runs into him because she works in the school district and he’s (last I heard anyway) a principal now.

27. Scrappie Mom said...
If you could be anywhere in the US, where would it be? I’ve ALWAYS wanted to go back East. I’ve never been there. And especially now that I’m married to someone who grew up back there, it’s even a better reason to go!

28. Jeremy said...
Who is your oldest brother? Ummmmmmmm I will assume this is a rhetorical question…

29. Jeremy said...
Who is your coolest brother? All my brothers are cool because they have me as their sister!

30. Jeremy said...
What color do you want to be when you grow up?? A nice shade of tan.

31. Jeremy said...
If you could live on any other planet, which planet would you choose? Mars! To get more candy bars, of course!

32. Jenna Consolo said...
If you could choose your church calling, which one would you choose? Well, to be completely honest, I wouldn’t mind the calling I have right now, if I had a son in Cub Scouts. But since I don’t, I think it would be fun to be in the Young Women’s, as a Beehive Teacher preferably. But I would love to go back to girls camp!

33. Jenna Consolo said...
What's your favorite snack? I love snacking on apple slices (they have to be the golden delicious too, btw) dipped in peanut butter with about 5-6 raisins per bite. YUM!

34. Jenna Consolo said...
What's the saddest thing that's ever happened to you? I don’t remember how old I was, maybe 10 or 11? It was my birthday and I got a kitten. I think I named her Butterscotch. She (I don’t actually remember if it were male or female, but cats are always “shes” aren’t they?) ended up being pretty sick and died a couple days after my birthday.

35. Jenna Consolo said...
If you could get your college degree (wait, you don't have it yet, do you?) what would your major be? No, I don’t, but if I could get it, I think I’d go into teaching or nursing. But honestly I don’t think I have the brains to do either, soooo…

36. Jenna Consolo said...
What's your favorite animal to see at the zoo? The lions and tigers are always pretty cool…unitl I hear the stories of how they have leaped over the fences and attacked people. The monkeys are always quite a sight; the little ones that climb along the ropes of course. The orangutans always look so bored which causes me to chuckle every time I see them.

37. Rylie Roo said...
What is the funniest thing that ever happened to you? That story is not tellable here…

38. Rylie Roo said...
What's your favorite song? I don’t think I really have a “favorite” song. I like a lot of songs though. I especially like ones that are in my vocal range so that I can sing them. I like the ones that are currently in my playlist, although those are just a few that I like.

39. Rylie Roo said...
What's your favorite TV show? Again, I don’t really have a favorite of these. There are a few shows that I enjoy watching. A most recent addiction is Deadliest Catch on the Discovery Channel. I don’t spend a lot of time in front of the TV. But I can’t wait for the new season of Lost to start! WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN!?!?!

40. Rylie Roo said...
What's your favorite candy? The candy I buy the most is cinnamon bears. Two bags; one for my desk, one for Josiah’s. I really like Skittles too, but you can only eat so many of those before your taste buds start swelling up. Does this happen to anyone else? I mean it’s not all of them, but I’ll get one that looks almost like a little pimple on my tongue and it’s rather sensitive for a couple days…

41. Rylie Roo said...
What's your favorite chocolate? My favorite BRAND of chocolate is probably See’s chocolate. As far as variety though, I like anything with nuts. I LOVE bridge mix.

42. Rylie Roo said...
What was your most favorite Birthday Party? For my 12th birthday, which was the last party that I was aloud to have, I got to have a slumber party with all my friends. That was probably my favorite.

43. Crazymamaof6 said...
what is your favorite beauty product? The only thing that I put on my face besides my moisturizer and foundation is eyeliner & mascara. All in Mary Kay of course. (I have found that I prefer that brand to any other that I’ve used.) I rarely put any color on my face. I’m not a big lipstick person, I prefer just lip gloss. Usually I keep the trial size tub of Vaseline with me at all times and that’s what I use for moisturizing my lips. As long as I have my eyeliner and mascara to help me look awake, then I am happy. Call me plain, but I prefer it simple!

44. Crazymamaof6 said...
what is your fave chore? Anything when I’m in the mood to do them. I don’t mind cleaning when I’m in the mood…it’s a good way to relieve stress and always gets my mind busy thinking.

45. Crazymamaof6 said...
least fave chore? I hate them all when I’m not in the mood! Funny how this works, huh?

46. Crazymamaof6 said...
what is your favorite holiday? Christmas for all the sentimental, spiritual, & emotional feelings that it brings!

47. Crazymamaof6 said...
what is your favorite cleaning product? Tilex brand bathroom cleaner.

48. Crazymamaof6 said...
how often do you mop your floors? Not as often as it is needed.

49. Crazymamaof6 said...
how long do clean floors last at your house? It depends…so often it seems like right after I’ve mopped, something like a cup of sticky soda/juice gets spilled which I’m sure is why I don’t mop as often as it is needed. I’d be mopping 30 times a day! I’m noticing though, as my kids get older the floors are staying cleaner longer. And especially since we’ve eliminated eating in the living room (terrible habit to begin with) we don’t have the crumbs and spills that come with it. That’s the nice thing about moving, it’s easy to start fresh with new rules!

50. Crazymamaof6 said...
what brand of Toilet paper do you use? Angel Soft, 2 ply, double rolls! It’s soft, it’s durable, I don’t have to change the roll as often, and it’s reasonably priced! I’ve noticed recently that they now have a Mega roll pack which so far I’ve opted against because “Not Me” apparently lives here and on occasion, rolls a large amount of TP off the roll and onto the floor next to the toilet, and I can just imagine how much MORE “Not Me” could roll off, if he had more to do so with! I did the math though (atleast at Walmart) and the price seemed to be about the same per square as the double roll pack. (And yes, I HAVE considered buying just the regular rolls for the kids bathroom, but I still have hope that “Not Me” will move out!)

51. Crazymamaof6 said...
what is the first book you ever read that you loved? I’m not much of a reader unless I can get into a book right from the beginning. So, that being said, I’ve never fallen in “love” with a book.

52. Crazymamaof6 said...
what is the most recent book you finished? Sadly, it was probably Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See? That is Trenton’s favorite book that he got from Josiah’s mom a couple Christmas’ ago.

53. Crazymamaof6 said...
what is your favorite beverage? It’s actually a pretty close toss up between Dr Pepper and a nice cold bottle of water. I try to balance them out. Although there was a time that Dr Pepper was what ran through my veins!

54. Crazymamaof6 said...
where is your favorite place to stop for a beverage? If I’m just going to get a beverage, I’ll go to Sonic. It’s always a pit though to go for JUST a beverage and have it be a bad batch of DP!

55. Crazymamaof6 said...
what color eyes do you have? Blue

56. Crazymamaof6 said...
what is your favorite musical? The Sound of Music. Recently though Josiah has been trying either to warm us all up to or run us all off with The Music Man…I’m still not 100% sure if he actually likes it or not! My kids go around now singing “Shipoopi!” They find it hysterical!

57. Crazymamaof6 said...
what is your biggest fear in life? Dieing young. Not to sound like I actually think I’d be missed, but I can’t even imagine what my husband and kids would do without me. Mostly I hate to think of their sadness, loneliness and how it would change their lives forever.

58. Crazymamaof6 said...
if you could be on any game show, what would it be?and why? The Price is Right. It just seems so easy.

59. Crazymamaof6 said...
what is your favorite color combo to wear? I went through a phase where I liked wearing pink and brown mostly.(didn’t everyone?) But lately, as long as brown is in there, then any other color goes great.

60. Crazymamaof6 said...
to decorate with? I prefer neutral colors with a few color accents like deep reds or greens.

61. Crazymamaof6 said...
what is your least favorite color combo? Yellow and black.

62. Crazymamaof6 said...
what size shoes do you wear? Size 11 if it’s a close toed shoe. I have a pair of Nike flip flops that are 11 though, and they tend to be a little long on me, (I bought them online) so now when I buy flip flips, I’ll try on a 10 first.

63. Crazymamaof6 said...
did it change when you were having babies? My feet swelled up a lot when I was prego, mostly just at the end. I usually had to wear sandals of some sort that had a lot of room for growth.

64. Rylie Roo said...
What was the last thing you bought? School supplies for my kids. Unless you count paying for the girls piano lesson yesterday…

65. Rylie Roo said...
What store do you mostly shop at? Walmart. I practically live there! I do about 99% of my grocery shopping there because they ad match, which saves me time, gas, and money. If I’m shopping for school clothes though, I shop at The Children’s Place or Target the most. Although I was pretty upset the other day when I went to Target and saw a really cute shirt, but when I looked at the tag it said $19.99!! What the poo?! If I want to buy a $20 shirt for my daughter, I’ll take her to Dillards for crying out loud!! That is NOT what Target is for! /end rant.

66. Rylie Roo said...
What was the last show you watched? (well I’m sure by the time this gets posted it will have changed…) Urban Legends on the Discovery channel. It came on right after Deadliest Catch and we were waiting for A Haunting to come on, which comes on right after Urban Legends. I didn’t actually watch all of Urban Legends though, before getting up and while I sat there, I actually was flipping between that and Paula Dean on the Food Network. I think I got up and left when they both decided to go to commercial at the same time….I couldn’t deal with commercials, so I came to the den to answer more questions.

67. Rylie Roo said...
What's your favorite thing to do? I love to sit at the piano and play through lots of music and practice the ones that I’m trying to learn. I also like to scrapbook, but that takes a lot of creativity and sometimes those juices are just not flowin’.

68. Rylie Roo said...
What's your favorite song to play on the piano? Tee hee…I didn’t see this question before answering the last…but I recently learned to play Canon in D (a simplified version of course because I’m not THAT good at playing…) and I like to play that. I’m currently learning to play The Wedding March (from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”) and Trumpet Voluntary which I am really excited about those two and can’t wait til I really have them down.

69. Rylie Roo said...
What was your favorite school subject? I think I remember liking Math, but I didn’t do the greatest at it. I liked it up through Algebra and then once I got into Geometry, I was a lost cause. It could have been that one of the boys I really liked was in that class…

70. Rylie Roo said...
What was your least favorite school subject? English!

71. Jenna Consolo said...
If you went to a karaoke bar, what song would you sing? Preferably one that I know and that is in my vocal range. I can’t even think of a specific one though. But I do enjoy singing, not necessarily in public places, but as long as I know the song and the people, then I’d probably give anything a shot.

72. Jenna Consolo said...
What is yours and Josiah's "song"? Sadly we’ve never exactly had a “song”…that was part of our dilemma at our wedding reception. We didn’t know what song we were even going to dance to together for the first time as husband and wife, until just before the reception started. It ended up being being Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton. So I guess if we have a “song” that would probably be it.

73. Jenna Consolo said...
What song do you sing to your babies? (or do you sing to your babies?) I always sing to my kids. I love to. Mostly because I hope it instills in them the love to sing. When they were babies I mostly sang the typical lull-a-byes though. I remember specifically though when Rylie was a baby, I would rock her to sleep at night singing the alphabet song. It flowed out easily and was a good rhythm. The thought always crossed my mind though that I should be singing Primary songs…but I rarely did that.

74. Jenna Consolo said...
What fashion trend were you most guilty of in the 80's? Probably pinch rolling my jeans. Ew! I think I’ll start walking around again like that.

75. Jenna Consolo said...
Are you politically active or involved? Not really; mostly because it all goes over my head. But I did re-register for the first time since I’ve been married, in the last year, and I voted in the Primary Election and will probably vote again in the General Election.

76. Jenna Consolo said...
What's your favorite thing to do with your kids? I love to laugh with them. I allow plenty of time each day for silliness. I love the sound of each of their laughs. It always causes me to giggle anytime I hear them let out a true, that was really funny, sort of laugh!

77. Jenna Consolo said...
Have you ever met anyone famous? If you could, who would you want to meet? I don’t think I have. If I could, I guess I’d probably pick President Thomas S. Monson.

78. Jenna Consolo said...
What's your favorite sport to play? I don’t really play sports, but I like to shoot hoops. Josiah and I used to play 1 on 1 basketball when we were first married. That was always fun. As a kid I hated any sport that involved a ball coming towards my face. I wore glasses and had this fear of the ball hitting me in the face and knocking off my glasses. I was sure I’d get made fun of. Totally lame, huh?

79. Jenna Consolo said...
What's your favorite sport to watch live? I don’t usually get the opportunity to go to live sporting events. I’ve only ever been to a couple baseball games. But I think I’d really enjoy watching basketball live. It’s really the only sport that I really understand. Baseball takes tooooo long. Football is just not exciting enough. Basketball is where it’s at. I don’t think any other sports really even count.

80. Jenna Consolo said...
Have you ever been to a concert? The only concert I’ve ever been to was a Chicago concert. It was on a date with a really good friend of mine that I worked with and totally liked.

81. Jenna Consolo said...
If you could take your family on a dream vacation, (with kids) where would you want to go? I’d want an all expense paid (wouldn’t really be a “dream” vacation if we had to pay for stuff, right?) trip to California. With the best hotel room possible, passes to all the parks, spending money to buy all the souvenirs we’d want, plenty of time to spend at the beach. Maybe a cruise on the side.

82. Jenna Consolo said...
If you suddenly inherited a million dollars, what would you do with it? Well, for starters, I’d pay tithing. Then I’d pay off all our bills. Buy 2 new cars, buy a house in a good, clean neighborhood, hire a maid, a gardener, a nutritionist, and probably a chef, maybe even a personal trainer. I’d buy myself and my husband a whole new wardrobe and I’d probably splurge on the kids too. Have I spent it all yet? If not, I’d probably buy a dog or cat so the kids would finally get to have a pet, and then I’d hire someone to clean up after it. Wow, wouldn’t this all just be great?! I wonder where that rich uncle of mine ran off to!?

83. Jenna Consolo said...
What make-believe games did you play as a child? I don’t remember playing any make believe games, but I know I played house and school. Things like that. Do those count?

84. idahohubers said...
Would you rather have a personal chef or a maid? Chef, as long as they clean up the kitchen after each meal.

85. Raelene said...
What is your favorite baby animal? Hmm, I think puppies are really cute.

86. Raelene said...
Who is your favorite actor? The one who you wouldn't mind keeping his shoe in your closet? Maybe I’m not a typical female, but I don’t generally go all gooey on the inside when I see any specific actors. I definitely don’t have any ONE that I drool over when I see him. (Although I’m positive Josiah assumes that I’m in lust with ½ of the 100 hottest men around…according to People magazine…) He would tell you Justin Hartley, or Tom Welling, or James Marsden or someone like that…but the fact of the matter is, I already have my favorite persons shoes in my closet! But there ARE a few actors that I do think are great actors and therefore like watching their movies: Bruce Willis, Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Matt Damon, Harrison Ford…just to name a few. But I don’t need to keep any of their shoes in my closet.

87. Raelene said...
Where would you like to retire? Well I’d like to stay near my family. I wouldn’t choose to live away from my children. But if I retire a billionaire and could afford to fly to them at a moments notice, then I suppose I wouldn’t mind retiring some place where the temperature is nice all year round. Is there a place like that?

88. Raelene said...
What is your favorite color? See question #1.

89. Raelene said...
Which of your children will most likely take care of you when you are ancient? Probably Trenton.

90. Raelene said...
If you were asked to play a part in a movie, which movie and which part? Hmm, probably an action film would be fun. I’ll say Iron Man and I’d of course be Pepper Pots.

91. Raelene said...
In that movie, who would be your co-actor? I would clearly pick Josiah to be my co-actor. He’d totally be the best Iron Man. (I read this question while trying to decide on the previous, so I figured it’d only make sense to pick a movie that would be fun for both of us!)

92. Raelene said...
What is your most embarrassing moment? See question #8.

93. music lady said...
What is your favorite hymn? I like a lot of the hymns. One of my favorites though is A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief. It’s kinda high for me to sing and strains my voice quite a bit, but I love to sing through the entire thing. There are many others though that I love to sing. I Need Thee Every Hour, How Gentle God’s Commands, Jesus, the Very Thought of Thee….just to name a few.

94. music lady said...
What is your favorite Primary Songs? I’ve always loved Give Said the Little Stream. It reminds me of my Grandma Spivey. I remember her singing this song to me when I was little. It’s actually the first memory that I have of the song.

95. music lady said...
What is your favorite kind of suntan lotion? Hmm, I don’t think I have a favorite suntan lotion. I don’t use any. I have found in the last week though that I prefer Coppertone sunscreen to Banana Boat. Banana Boat is way too greasy.

96. music lady said...
What is your favorite cleaning product? See question #47.

97. music lady said...
What was your favorite vacation ever? and Why? See question #4.

98. music lady said...
If you won a $1,000,000 lottery what would you spend it on first? See question #82

99. music lady said...
Do you have a hidden talent? I think I probably keep all of my talents “hidden” because I’m not very good at any of them. I’ll allow them to come to the surface when, if ever, I improve on them enough that I could become “well known” for them. But some things that I can sort of do, are play the piano, sing, cook. That’s about it.

100. Scrappie Mom said...
Who is your hero? Why? My mother is my hero. She has taught me so much, has watched me fail so many times, and still loves me no matter what! That is definitely someone to look up to and aspire to be like!

101. Scrappie Mom said...
What was your greatest fear as a child? Probably getting spanked with the belt!

102. Scrappie Mom said...
What is your favorite flower? I think Calla Lilies are beautiful.

103. Leslie said...
Was your first kiss all what you thought it would be cracked up to be...not with Josiah but your FIRST kiss...and who was it with and can you share some details? Well, my very first kiss (that I don’t typically count because it wasn’t with a “boyfriend”) was when I was about 7 or 8. There was a boy who lived down the street from us and he came over one day with one of the girls who lived next door to him and they ganged up on me, she helped to pin me down while he laid one on me. After that I didn’t attempt to kiss any boys until I was in 8th grade. I had this boyfriend and one day after school, we were sitting on a curb waiting for our ride…I think we were going to a friend’s house, and he asked if I wanted to kiss. It was a little weird and we were sitting side by side so when I turned to kiss him, it was like totally lame, corner of the mouth sort of kiss. He was like, “that didn’t really count, the guys didn’t see.” I guess he was doing it for show and some of his friends were supposed to be looking from around the corner or whatever, so I didn’t let him have another. I ended up breaking up with him a couple weeks later for dancing with his hands on my butt at a church dance.

Now could you share some details of your first kiss with Josiah? Josiah and I actually kissed for the first time at the end of our first date. He was very much a gentleman though, and asked first if he could kiss me. I approved and he gave me a nice little peck on the lips.

When was the first moment that you knew you were going to marry Josiah? How far into your dating was it? I knew after about the 4th or 5th date. We had gone out to eat one night at Applebee’s. I think I had hesitated to go out with him that night, because I think I wasn’t sure that I was ready for a serious relationship. It wasn’t that I didn’t like him. We had so far had tons of fun together. He totally made me smile/laugh. I remember coming home at every night with laugh lines etched into my cheeks. Anyway, I think that was the night that I fell in love and came home after the date and told my mom I was going to marry him. He still didn’t know that I was going to of course. But my mom and I actually went out a few days later and bought the dress. I think it was within the next few weeks that my little brother (little at the time) informed Josiah that I had gone out and bought it and that I planned on marrying him. I was sure this of course was going to scare him off!

IF for the rest of your life you could only choose to have one of the following what would you choose between the internet or cable tv/satlite which one would you choose and why? The internet. There is so much you can do on the internet anymore that it would be silly to pick TV over it.

If you could change the world, what would you do...Bring down gas prices. I think that would change the world enough.

What is your favorite news channel? We prefer News Channel 3. They are very laid back and have fun which makes it easy to watch.

What is the wierdest thing that has ever happened to you? Hmm, I got hit on by a guy at Walmart after I’d told him that I was happily married and have kids.

If you would have won my contest, what bag did you want? I wanted one kinda like the one you made for Rylie for school a couple years ago, in blue though and probably without a flap. I think that would be the perfect size for taking to church.

If you are still around, I'm amazed! You should win a prize!

Good answers... You are smart about the 2 bags of cinn bears! Jake is hooked on Deadliest Catch and was telling me all about Phil and his blood clot! He's waiting for next season too. Also you do have great skin! I laughed because that's not a typical answer but if anyone has seen/touched your skin they would totally agree!!! It was great to read so many fun things about you.

I didn't get my questions in on time, so I would like to know:

What other period of history might you have liked to live in?

What one thing would you most like to excel at?
(You know, that you don't excel at already.)

Interesting post -- I learned lots!
