What a Great Day!!

Yesterday was a wonderful Valentine's Day! I managed to get some pictures so I will let them tell their story...

The girls got tons of Valentine's loot from their class parties...

Here is the Cookie Bouquet that my sil, Hannah, made for my sweet husband, Josiah...
It turned out super cute!! Thanks again, Hannah! The cookies are delicious!

Josiah got me a box of See's chocolates...YUMMMM!!
...and isn't the box just adorable!? It will be added to my collection...

These are from last year.....I asked Josiah to get all 3 because they were at Target (choxie brand) and I figured they wouldn't carry the same boxes this year (which I checked and they didn't...they were different) And really I just wanted the boxes. The chocolates were very mediocre...but atleast I have cute Valentine's decor now! :)

These boxes were from See's. I didn't get them all in the same year though. The biggest was from the year before last year, the medium the year before that and the small the year before that! I guess his love for me has grown over time! I realize that this years box is smaller so maybe you are worried that I think his love for me has shrunk...NOPE! I don't think that at all! He knew I would love the box and I DO!! The chocolates, as good as they are, are really just a bonus!

This is the contents of the box, for those who may have been wondering. He custom put it together! He knows all my chocolate favorites! (Yes, a couple had been eaten by the time I got this pic taken...I shared with the girls and Josiah. I woulda shared with the boys too, but they were in the other room at the time. I'm sure they'll get their share before it's emptied!)

Aren't we just the cutest couple ever?! Ok, we were a cuter couple before my face was soo round! But alas...this is what chocolate filled heart boxes the past 5 Valentine's will do to a girl such as myself.

And here is our Valentine's dinner...
Chicken Parmigiana with spaghetti, caesar salad, and garlic bread. YUMMM! The cheese got a little darker than I had wanted on the chicken, but it was still super delicious!

There you have it! Our '08 Valentine's Day in a nut-ish-shell!

Sarah, those cookies look great, I wish we weren't so far away, so I could have some of Hannah's cookies. You two are sweet Valentines, thanks for the pix.

Oh, for cute, for cute!

Wondering ... who took the pictures of the two of you?

Rylie took most of the pictures of us. I think Alyssa may have taken the one where Josiah's head is partially cut off.

I want a custom selected box of chocolate! I always have to cut them in half to see inside and then only like half of them anyway...wait, maybe that's a good thing. Well, your day looked like fun and the food looks yummy. Gotta love you and Josiah's expressions when he re-enacts giving you the candy! You crack me up!!
