Plain and Simple...

I don't have a whole lot of time because I need to be getting ready for church, but I wanted to start the day off by wishing my mother a Happy Mother's Day! I couldn't have asked for a better person to call 'mom'.

My mother and grandmother last Mother's Day.

Because I'm short on time, go here to read last year's tribute.

I sure love you, mom! Thank you for everything! Hope you have a wonderful day!

*ALSO*

Today is my dad's birthday...

Last year on his birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD!
Hope your day is extra special!
We all love you!

I thought it was illegal to be born on Mothers' Day, that mothers are given this one day off every year, and they don't have to bear children or make meals or do laundry. So, how did your dad get away with being born on Mothers' Day? Was he born before Mothers' Day was instituted? Just curious. happy Mothers' Day, Sarah!

Thanks Sarah! Again, you brought tears to my eyes. This has been a little rough for me with it being the first Mother's Day without my mother. She was a good example to me and I hope I have been even half the example to my children.

And Holiday, I totally agree with you. There should be a law against anyone being born on or having a birthday on Mother's Day!

I think you are an amazing mother with many Christ like attributes...I sure do love Mothers day...not because of the pampering...but simply, because we have the gift of being a mother! Priceless!
